Oranga
Oranga is a small residential suburb in Auckland, New Zealand. It is located nine kilometres to the southeast of the city centre, between the commercial suburbs of Te Papapa and Penrose to the south and east, and the residential suburbs of One Tree Hill and Onehunga to the north and south.
The New Zealand Ministry for Culture and Heritage gives a translation of “place of rising ground” for Ōranga.
It used to be a state housing neighbourhood for low-income families, but it is rapidly gentrifying.

If you are interested in getting into the industry but haven’t obtained the required qualification a good starting place to dabble is as a non-licensed assistant. This is a great way to develop an understanding of how it works and to ease into the industry.
